Questions

What format are the files?

Each toolkit is a zip file containing a PDF guide plus editable Microsoft Word and Excel files. They also open in Google Docs and Sheets, Apple Pages and Numbers, and LibreOffice. Placeholders are highlighted so you can add your company details quickly.

How do I get my toolkit after paying?

Your download link appears straight after payment and is also emailed to you. If you cannot find the email, check your junk folder or contact hr@arbiterhr.co.uk.

Are the toolkits up to date?

They reflect the law and Acas guidance as at late September 2026, including the Employment Rights Act 2025 changes due in October 2026 and January 2027, and Acas’s draft new Code of Practice. Employment law is still changing, and we email buyers when a toolkit is updated.

Is this legal advice?

No. The toolkits are HR templates and guidance, not legal advice, and using them does not by itself guarantee compliance. Adapt them to your business, and take advice from a qualified employment solicitor on specific cases, settlement agreements or tribunal claims.

Do they work for my part of the UK?

They are written for employers in England, Scotland and Wales. Employment law in Northern Ireland is different, so they are not designed for use there.

Can I share them with other businesses?

Each purchase is licensed for use within the buying business. Please do not resell or share the templates.

What if something is wrong with my download?

Email hr@arbiterhr.co.uk and we will put it right, whether a file will not open or you bought the wrong toolkit.

Templates and guidance for employers in Great Britain. Not legal advice. Arbiter HR is an independent HR consultancy, not a firm of solicitors.
