One side. Always.

Arbiter HR only ever acts for one side of any workplace concern. This service is available only where Arbiter HR is not — and has never been — the HR provider for your organisation. Before any engagement, we run a conflict check. If your employer is a current or former client, we will decline and refer you to someone independent.

That rule is absolute, in both directions. It's the same independence that employers hire us for — and it's what makes our guidance worth having.

Not in a union? You still have options.

Most people facing a disciplinary, a grievance, or a difficult process at work have never been through one before. The employer has done it many times. That imbalance is what we level out.

This is coaching and preparation, from someone who has run these processes from the employer's side of the table for eight years. We help you understand your rights, understand the process, and put your case across clearly and calmly.

We are not a trade union and this is not union representation — but if you're not in a union, this is the practical support that fills the gap.

Written Support

Hearing Preparation

From £250

Full coaching before a disciplinary or grievance hearing. What to expect, what to say, what to bring, and how to stay composed.

Being straight with you

We are not solicitors. Arbiter HR does not provide legal advice or employment tribunal representation. What you get is experienced, practical HR guidance on your rights and the process — grounded in the ACAS Code of Practice. If your situation needs a lawyer, we'll tell you, and help you find one.

We cannot attend your hearing. The statutory right to be accompanied covers trade union representatives and fellow workers only. Our role is to prepare you so thoroughly beforehand that you walk in ready.

Everything is confidential. Your employer is never contacted, and nothing you tell us goes anywhere without your say-so.
